Claire Anderson loves Twilight and is psyched when her mom's friend, Darlene, wants to take her to Washington with her. Her parents are hesitant, but agree when Darlene says that Cassidy, Claire's older sister, can come along. When they arrive in Washington, they meet Nora Anthony `Tony' Russo, children that are around Claire's age.

At first, Claire thinks they are very odd. First they talk funny, and during dinner Tony seems to know what Claire is going to say before she says it. There's only one thing that could mean...that Tony is a vampire! Cassidy can't believe Claire's silliness. Is Tony the vampire she thinks he is?

I loved Pride & Popularity, the first book in the Jane Austen Diaries series by Jenni James, and definitely didn't hesitate in buying this book. It sounded too funny to pass up. I don't know which one I like better because this one was really funny.

It definitely was a little bit of a stretch at some of the conclusions she draws about Twilight and the unsuspecting guys, but it was funny at why she thought so. I wanted to shake my head several times at her claims.

I really like Tony. He was very sweet, and didn't seem to mind when he finds out about her musings. I was glad that this book was about Claire. Claire and Cassidy are mentioned in the first book. I like that characters from previous books make appearances throughout this series. Anybody that wants clean young adult fiction will be able to read anything by Jenni James.

I loved this book!!!! It was very good and although twilight is not my favorite book, I prefer the inheritance series, Ivan admit to living in a false reality at times. They were and sometimes still a good way to escape reality. This being said I have never actually thought someone was a real vampire. Overall though it was a tremendous read!!!!
I loved the first book in this series, Pride and Populrity, and thought, "There is NO way this book could be as good." Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! I loved this story!! I love how this author takes a classic story and twists it around to completely modernize it. Very clever; very darling; very fun; and completely clean too!!

Claire and her sister are invited to go to Washington State for the summer with some of her parents friends. This is exactly Claire's dream vacation, since she is a huge Twilight fan. When Claire meets Tony, she is convinced he's a vampire. What ensues is a completely hilarious adventure that had me giggling right out loud!

Claire is such a fun character. I loved the thoughts running through her mind. I loved the situations she got herself into and how she treid to deal with them. The supporting characters were a riot as well. I seriously can't wait for the next book to come out!! A preview was included at the back.
Can't get enough of her books. I absolutely love her remakes of Jane Austen and can't wait till the next.
A little over the top at times, but super cute. In comparison with her Pride and Popularity, this one didn't seem to have as many references to the Austen book, but there were enough there to make me laugh. Like Northanger Abbey, this book is also pretty tongue in cheek about people who are a little too serious about their fiction. While she's immature at first, Claire does grow up and learns that living a real life is better than what's in a book. Fun read!

Ok, I admit that I have fallen in love with this YA series. These characters and these extended families have found a place in my forever shelves. James has an uncanny knack of seeing into the past, and pulling it into the present. These are true teen love stories with just the right mix of angst. A recipe for success.
This author has me hooked. I will read everything she writes. What a pleasure to read and enjoy a wonderful romance that is full of laugh out loud humor,touching moments, tender love and clean romance. This is another in the series of the Jane Austen Diaries and it was such a fun delightful read. I laughed out loud at the darling heroine Claire and her obsession with the Twilight books and trying to find those connections in the real world. The two "hot" boys that were attracted to her were fun and cute but Tony was by far the best and sweetest. I do agree that the first book Pride & Popularity was more of a mature romance (again clean though)and it probably is my favorite so far (I am a Pride & Prejudice junkie) but I still loved this book too. These are books I can recommend to any of the young girls in my life but even some of us older women who love a good romance and love Jane Austen will love them too. Ms. James-Keep those great books coming.(please as fast as you can) You have a fan in me forever.
