FIVE INCREDIBLE STARS

What an incredible book to start the Santini brother series. This novel isn't just about romance; no, this novel contains five Italian Mafia families who all happen to be at war with the main protagonists being the Santini family. In fact, there are actually nine of the bad boys who are all brothers, all alpha males and dangerous. Each one of them has his own part to play in the family feud. However, there is an even bigger war going on in the Santini household that may tear the family apart.

Let me introduce you to Ricardo. The story starts with one of the brothers asking Ricardo for help as he fears danger may lie ahead for his family. Ricardo is tall, muscular and tattooed and is feared by everyone as he is the oldest of the brothers and next in line to become the Don, a mob boss. The father is no longer capable, so the family all take a vote on an important issue. Momma Santini is someone to be reckoned with, too! And Brando has no morals and is pure evil; the fourth brother wants the title of Don, so disputes begin within the house. Meanwhile, Ricardo is the one who is spiralling down a dark path due to events which have had a deep influence on his life. At the same time, he is trying to protect his loved ones and do the right thing. Following a heated meeting with his siblings in which Ricardo tells everyone what he expects from them, an unexpected event occurs which takes him back in time and cause his emotions to rise to the surface.

Bianca D'Angelo is feeling the heat because of something dreadful that happened in her past and feels that her only option is to run. She’s in dire danger, and she fears that there may be serious consequences from enemies. Unexpectedly, she is recognised which puts her into further peril, and she desperately seeks shelter from someone she believes she can trust. Will she find the protection she needs? Perhaps things won’t be as she had anticipated. Will her life be on a knife’s edge for long?

I really loved this story. It has everything you would expect in a Mafia novel from hot Mafia men. There was even a twist to the story which I never saw coming, so I'm going say congratulations to the author for this sublimely written action-packed book. And I look forward to reading the follow-up. Can't wait to read Brando’s story. I award this novel FIVE INCREDIBLE STARS and you have gained yourself a fan. Thank you!

Gosh, it's not too often a book makes me feel EVERYTHING! So much emotions at play, Rosa, so heartbreaking....I haven't even read her story first and I still feel the loss. I found this book but didn't realize the other should have been read first. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series.
Ok I am so hooked. I strongly recommend beginning by reading the My Masters Nightmare series first for all the back ground. That way you at least feel like you know everyone even though you are meeting new characters. I hate reviews that give spoilers, but I am happy I already knew Alessandro and Bianco. And I don't like Ivy!
"Ricardo" is the book's title, but with the exception of Salvatore, the entire clan is NUTS!!!!! I loved this dysfunctional family full of imperfect people who I rooted for despite my feelings! Excellent story!
I really enjoyed Ricardo's story, when we actually got to hear his story. The biggest problem with this book is there are WAYYYYY too many characters that have major dialogue, at times I felt myself getting lost and frustrated because I thought I was hearing about Ricardo's story but it was overshadowed by his entire family. I would of preferred the author to introduce the characters but have the focus more on Ricardo.
very interesting, captures your attention, very good read, sit on the edge of your seat, I love the characters, this story line between them, the interactions, and everything back and forth, the drama. it is out of this world. you will love it. definitely highly recommend, you will really enjoy it, it is a nail biter, well done by this author, amazing job of capturing your attention with this one. This was a wonderful find. As of late I have an affliction for contemporary romantic mafia reads this one hits my top list. The author did excellent job introducing all of the characters and building the story line so intricately that you get drawn and hooked to the story. Once I started reading I could not put the book down it was like I was right there part of all of the action and hot and steamy romance this was so good. The main characters Ricardo and Bianca had such raw passion and chemistry I was afraid my iPad would blow up but the wonderful part is that the story wasn't just about them it was about all the family members and their rivals. I recommend you taking the time to read this books because it will keep you locked in place craving more.
There are so many things that go on in this book which the author used to build the main storyline. This is an awesome story full of secrecy, mystery and drama which starts at the beginning of the story until the very end. The author writing definitely have a unique smooth style which flows and the words grabs your attention. I love the characters and how everyone came together because this wasn't just an easy love story. It had a lot of depth that I don't see in a lot of Mafia novel. Ricardo is tall, muscular and tattooed and is feared by everyone as he is the oldest of the brothers and next in line to become the Don, a mob boss. The father is no longer capable, so the family all take a vote on an important issue. Bianca was a strong out-spoken woman with a bad history and she was not whiny or selfish. Contessa was a true selfish ,cruel and obnoxious b***h, who had her on agenda and was full of secrets as well as lies. I wanted to slap the s**t out of her myself. Overall, the story was well written and I want to say KUDOS to the author for an outstanding action-packed book. This is the first time reading a novel by this author but most certainly not the last.
